Lead a support group for SBS moms in a non-judgmental environment providing encouragement that promotes faith and healing.
Participate in Thursday night programs by co-leading a small discussion group of 5-8 SBS moms.
Prepare materials ahead of time as provided during monthly leader meetings.
Maintain group attendance and prayer requests.
Report any concerns or issues regarding SBS moms to staff for follow up.
Build relationships with SBS moms outside of regular program nights. Outside communication should include: a minimum of one touch (call, text, social media) to each group member between meetings, send cards at Christmas and birthdays (provided by SBS)
Organize at least one group gather outside of the program. EX: cookout, pool party, day at the park, movie night, etc.
Encourage spiritual growth of SBS moms by seeking opportunities to incorporate Biblical truths into group meetings, being available to discuss Biblical questions one on one, and available to pray with SBS moms.

Programs offered at Step By Step will give her the skills and confidence she needs, opening the door to a promising future for herself and her family. Step By Step will be a place where she will find hope!

-Workshops on parenting, life skills, budgeting, communication, relationships, nutrition, goal setting...
-Large group meetings with fun activities and a - warm meal for moms and their children
-"Dare To Dream" goal setting sessions
-Bible Studies and Discipleship
-Weekend retreat focused on emotional healing and spiritual growth
-Resource Referrals
-Crisis Intervention
-Children’s Program for the Kids which includes Bible teaching and character development
-Transportation to large group meetings
-Mama’s Hideout where they can come throughout the week to find support, prayer and guidance
-Advocacy
