We invite you to take part in the National Asian American Association of Professionals 2017 Leadership Convention on August 17-19, 2017 at the Swissotel Hotel in Downtown Chicago as a convention volunteer. The National Association of Asian American Professionals (NAAAP) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that cultivates and empowers Asian leaders through professional development, community service, and networking. Founded in 1982, NAAAP operates in 28 cities in the United States and Canada. NAAAP boasts 3,000 members. We reach over 20,000 Asian professionals in North America. NAAAP is a pan-Asian organization that attracts individuals representing diverse educational and professional backgrounds.

NAAAP's vision is to be the premier leadership development organization for Asian professionals with the mission to:

* Cultivate and empower leaders for professional excellence
* Connect accomplished professionals for mutual success
* Engage and participate with the community-at-large
* Inspire leaders to make a meaningful difference in government, education, business, and society

Volunteering with NAAAP provides a unique opportunity to network with other Asian professionals and contribute to the local community. Our volunteers experience the leadership, values and vision that define our organization, whether they are working behind the scenes in support of the Convention operations or interacting with the attendees, sponsors and speakers on the front lines.

We would love to have you join us either one day or all three-days of the convention! If you wish to sign up, please use our online volunteer registration system< http://www.signupgenius.com/go/70a0e4eadad2ba46-2017> and select your volunteer shifts. All available shifts are listed online.

The National Association of Asian American Professionals is a non-profit organization that cultivates and empowers Asian & Pacific Islander leaders through professional development, community service, and networking.

As the largest and fastest growing API professionals association, NAAAP continues to provide its members with the tools and resources to further career advancements and to empower Asians and Pacific Islanders to become great leaders as well as valuable employees.

In order to achieve our goals, NAAAP offers a diverse range of professional development programs on the local and national level, engages its membership in community service and organizes professional networking events. These may range from a series of panels, workshops and seminars, and web-based sessions and networking.
