Dunkin Donuts Volunteers

The Vermont Foodbank is the only Foodbank in Vermont and our goal is to feed our hungry Vermont neighbors in all corners of the state. To do this, however, we rely on volunteer support. We are now reaching out to all of you because we are in need of some wonderful volunteers at our Brattleboro Distribution Center.

One in 4 Vermonters is experiencing hunger and the Vermont Foodbank is working to ensure that no one in Vermont goes hungry. Through a network of hundreds food shelves, meal sites, schools, and senior centers, we are providing millions of pounds of quality food every year (this year our goal is 12.5 million pounds of food distributed to those in need). When we receive large donations from supermarkets, the goods need to be sorted and packed so we can quickly distribute them to our neighbors in need. This is where we’d love your help!

Brattleboro volunteer hours are Monday through Thursdays from 1-3 PM and Tuesday through Thursday from 9 AM - noon. Volunteers must be able to stand on their feet for 2 hours, lift up to 30 pounds and be 16 or older, or 14 and 15 accompanied by an adult. If you're interested in bringing a group, please contact Hanna for more informaiton about volunteer hours.

Volunteers sort and pack grocery store donations so they can easily and efficiently go out to meal sites and food shelves throughout the state. Other projects include bagging fresh produce, sorting frozen meats, and prepping for our VeggieVanGo events (bringing healthy foods to hospitals and schools).
