Hospice Angels are dedicated volunteers providing vigil support to patients with limited or no family during the last hours of life. These hours are a spirit lifting experience.
Most Angel team members read passages, listen to music, sing, talk, or simply sit silently to be a caring presence and make sure that no one dies alone.
This position is as-needed. When someone is in the last several days of life, the coordinator would contact you and ask you if you have any availability to help. We realize that you have other things in your life, and it's always ok to say no.
There are opportunities throughout Ozaukee county. Requires the ability to work 2 to 4 hour shifts and to complete all the Compassus Hospice training guidelines. Training is provided. Make a difference! Training is provided at no charge.More opportunities with Compassus Hospice
