Volunteers Needed to conduct Vision Screenings!

Kids Vision for Life St. Louis provides free comprehensive vision services, including vision screenings, eye exams, and prescription eyewear for students around the St. Louis area. Our vision is to give students with visual impairments free glasses in order to provide the best education possible. Many families do not have the ability to provide eye care for their children, which can be detrimental to their education.

Last year, KVFL visited 150 elementary schools and prescribed over 4,700 pairs of eye wear for students.

With our rapid growth comes an increase in demand for volunteers. We need volunteers to go with us to different schools in the area and conduct vision screenings. We train all volunteers on site, so no previous experience is needed. We do screenings every day at a different school from 9:00am-2:00pm and typically have 4 volunteers a day. Volunteers will get the chance to make a difference in hundreds of children’s lives in just one screening day.
