Hope Beyond Measures, Inc. is a non-profit agency that seeks to address the school-to-prison pipeline by promoting leadership skills and implementing programs that increase academic performance and career engagement. One of our annual events is a Family Block Party. The purpose of this event is to provide activities for families to enjoy together. Free activities will include face painting, inflatables, educational and empowerment workshops, arts & crafts, and more! Our organization also provides a free backpack giveaway during this event to help children prepare to head back to school. This year, we will add the opportunity for youth entrepreneurs to showcase their products and services in order to empower them to continue their dreams.
We are looking for volunteers to help make this event a success! Because we are a nonprofit, our funds are limited. We are looking for face painters, balloon twisters, fun coordinators, and any other service that you may be willing to volunteer for the children.

Description
Hope Beyond Measures, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that was established in 2015 in order to address the school-to-prison pipeline, which transitions children into the criminal justice system rather than providing them with an education. Hope Beyond Measures is an organization that seeks to respond to the growing number of children that fall into this pipeline by advocating for these children and exposing children to various opportunities that will enable them to succeed. The goal of the organization is to identify children who are at risk for falling into this pipeline and offer mentoring, learning experiences, and personal resources to avoid the pitfalls that can derail their lives. Hope Beyond Measures empowers young children and provides resources to the community in order to promote leadership and life skills, healthy relationships, and provide a sense of hope.
