Board candidates must be able to demonstrate an ability to provide leadership in a key area of expertise. We like to refer to this as your "superpower" within our group. You don't need to be a talented artist, but we do ask that you demonstrate an interest in a creative area. Our meetings are typically online, however, there is on-site work as well.

Mission Statement
We are friends working to provide an artistic venue, support and camaraderie for creative people, as we preserve the rural heritage of our home at Jester Farm.
Description
Jester Artspace is a 501(c)(3) non-profit working to restore the historic Jester Farmhouse, in Jester Park on Grubb Road in Wilmington DE, for local artists of all disciplines and skill levels to use as meeting, working and gallery space. The county-owned property is one of the few remaining modest pre-Civil War farmsteads that were once common in Northern Delaware. We are working closely with the county and our restoration plans are nearly complete. In the coming year, we will be undergoing intense strategic planning to transition from restoration, to opening our doors. Learn more about us at jesterartspace.org.
