Toast to the Coast FUNdraiser Thursday, August 24th from 6pm - 9pm
We're all dependent on our oceans and want to do what we can to protect our beautiful coastline. Grab your fellow ocean loving friends and join us for a community "Toast to the Coast" to support local nonprofit, $1 for the Ocean. Ice cold craft beers, delicious Island eats, vendor booths and lots of awesome raffle prizes! Be sure to swing by the photobooth and get your pic taken with our toasting mermaids! This is a FREE event and 100% of all raffle proceeds, and a whopping 20% of ALL beer, food and merchandise sales will be donated to the cause!
This is an event that helps support $1 for the Ocean.
Event volunteers are needed for Pre-Event Activities, Day of Event and Post Event activities
Pre-Event activities could include promoting this event at other events or helping us share the informaiton through social media.
Day of Event volunters- helping sell raffle tickets, guest reception table, Merimaids Minded people ot wear the Mermaid costumes, set up and break down the event
Post Event Activites could include unpacking and putting away the event materials the next day.

We organize FUNdraising events for local nonprofits to raise awareness and support, and provide extra breathing room so they can focus on their missions.
Description
Hearts for San Diego organizes FUNdraising events on behalf of our local charities. We are run 100% by volunteers who are passionate about giving back to our community and supporting a variety of causes. Each event spotlights a different charity/cause, and is designed in the most cost-effective manner to provide an affordable, fun, educational and engaging experience.
Our goal is to increase awareness of our spotlighted charities and their missions, and to generate greater levels of volunteerism and financial support to help them succeed with their inspiring work. By organizing all aspects of the fundraising events, we provide our charities with much needed "breathing room" while simultaneously expanding their community reach to potential volunteers and donors.
