This role is a vital part of a quality donations and volunteer program that enhances Veterans' healthcare in Philadelphia. The volunteer office ambassador will answer phones and greet visitors, employees and volunteers at the office; work on a variety of administrative projects, including writing the volunteer newsletter; organize donations; coordinate donations drop-offs; and update marketing materials. Additional projects may also be assigned, including volunteer file management, and updating contact information. This volunteer role supports the Corporal Michael J. Crescenz's mission to honor America's Veterans by providing exceptional health care that improves their health and well-being.
Working knowledge of MS Office, including Excel, Word and Publisher, and good customer service skills, are desired. This is a great opporuntity for either a college/graduate student seeking experience in healthcare administrative operations, fundraising, marketing or public relations, or a knowledgeable professional who can come into the office during business hours (Monday-Friday, 8amm-4pm).
