ORGANIZATION: Harley's Hope Foundation

Harley's Hope Foundation, a Colorado Springs non-profit that helps people and their companion pets stay together in times of emergency need, seeks local volunteers to help at its Saturday, September 22nd fundraising event "Tastings, Tapas and Treasures" to be held at The Cottonwood Center for Art. Tickets are $35 for the event and include tastings of distilled, wine and beer drinks; tapas (appetizers) from The Picnic Basket and a chance to purchase local art. However, you won't have to pay this if you volunteer!

We are in need of 12 people to help with this indoor event being held at the The Cottonwood Center for the Arts, downtown Colorado Springs: At least 6 volunteers to set-up at 3pm and 6 to pack up after the events ends at 8pm. We have volunteer needs during the event as well, so if you like to start at the beginning and work the event, or work the event and help with tear down - we'd love to have you! No prior experience required, but must enjoy interacting with other people!

Please email volunteer@harleys-hopefoundation.org or apply via the application tab on harleys-hopefoundation.org. We will be in contact with you shortly afterwards. Thank you!!!

About Harley's Hope Foundation

Location:

PO BOX 88146, COLORADO SPRINGS, CO 80908, US

Mission Statement

Our purpose is to ensure low income pet parents and their companion or service animals remain together when issues arise. The goal in doing so is to prevent at-risk animals from being surrendered or falling victim to euthanasia for treatable conditions and behaviors.

Description

Harley's Hope Foundation is Colorado's only multi-service safety net charity dedicated entirely to keeping pets and people together. We don't do pet adoptions but instead work hard to keep pets in their existing homes. After all, adoption is just the first step in the journey.

Services include financial assistance with major veterinary care, emergency foster/boarding assistance for pets whose people are hospitalized, pet food assistance, and much more.
