Be a Great Lakes Caring VolunTEEN and make a meaningful difference in someone’s life while earning volunteer hours, meeting new friends and gaining valuable experience!
VolunTEEN OPPORTUNITIES INCLUDE:
- Making group visits to hospice patients
- Computer/admin work in our office
- Sharing your talents, like music, art and crafts
- Assisting with events, such as tea parties and ice cream socials
- Life review activities
We are building a fabulous Teen Program that will be FUN and Interactive!! Come be a part of something SPECIAL!!
REQUIREMENTS:
- Open to high school teens 14 -17 years
- Flexible schedules and hours
- Available all summer with the option to continue volunteering during the school year
- Training provided
- Great experience for teens looking for meaningful volunteer work or seeking a future career in healthcare
- Must have a valid State I.D. or Driver's License
