During these uncertain times, how can we help?
See below to access our COVID-19 Resource Hub, and to explore our growing directory of COVID-19-specific and virtual volunteering opportunities.
Our organization grants wishes to children with critical illnesses. Our chapter raises all funds & grants all wishes in the state of South Carolina.
We need bilingual volunteers to help facilitate the process for our Spanish-speaking families.
Translators can serve as wish granters, who work directly with local wish families throughout the process of receiving a wish, or they can aid staff and other volunteers with communication only. Please help us serve all of our families in the language that makes them feel most comfortable and cared-for during this special process!

Make-A-Wish South Carolina grants wishes to children with critical illnesses.
Since 1984, Make-A-Wish South Carolina has been granting wishes to children all across the state of South Carolina. Each unique wish brings hope, strength, and joy to a child living with a critical illness.
Children can wish to have something, to go somewhere, to meet someone, or to be something. Volunteers move our mission forward by working directly with wish families - helping them throughout each step of the process. From the initial interview to find out that one, true wish to sending them off in style if they are travelling, volunteers add a local, personal touch to make the wish extra special.
We'll work with your schedule.
