FLEXIBILITY! Did you know many seniors and disabled adults in the Kernersville and surrounding areas struggle to get to/from doctor's appointments. The Shepherd's Center of Kernersville is in need of drivers who are available to take seniors and disabled adults to these appointments. You choose what days you can drive and where you can drive. Please consider helping a senior or disabled adult get to the places they desperately need to. All drivers must be at least 18 years old. A background / driver's license check will be completed by staff to ensure safety for our recipients.

We offer services and enrichment for older and/or disabled adults living in or closeby Kernersville, NC - Offering: Transportation (medical), Friendly Calls, In-Home Visitation, Personal Shopper (grocery/pharmacy errands), Handypersons (minor repairs), Equipment Loan, Pastoral Counseling (not licensed), Medicare/SHIIP Counseling, Legal Aide Counseling, Full-time Senior Enrichment Center, Caregiver Support Group, Computer Learning Center (computer and electronic device assistance), Income Tax Prep Program (Feb-Apr annually), Information and Referrals, and Advocacy Programs.
