Help I-Renew be pro-active in regards to local, state and federal policies that impact making renewable energy the primary source of energy in Iowa

  • Draft the Board's postion on laws that impact solar, wind, geo-thermal and bio-fuels
  • Collaborate with Marketing Directors to publicise and engage the public
  • Provide monthly reports to the Board on policy happening at the local, state and federal levels

If you can commit on the average of 20 hrs per month and can prsent a report at monthly Board meeting, this can become a Board position

Our mission is to make renewable energy the primary source of energy in Iowa. Founded in 1992, The Iowa Renewable Energy Association (I-Renew) is a volunteer-run non-profit organization. In addition to educational activities, we partner with other non-profit groups in the state to support renewable energy development.

Description

Wanna lead Iowa toward a future where our primary energy sources are clean, renewable and putting Iowans to work? Volunteer with I-Renew.

Through outreach, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops, I-Renew helps Iowans understand how natural and renewable resources offer energy alternatives to power our homes, businesses, vehicles and cities. I-Renew is offering multiple volunteer opportunities for Iowans who

  • Can commit 5-10 hrs a month to help fill one of our roles
  • Understand the link between sustainability and long-term profitability
  • Have a proven track record of producing results
