Our Hospice Care Center is a 14 bed unit, where patients are in crisis. Hospice Care Center volunteers are amazing and have an incredible impact on our patients and families! Here's a list of things they do: visit from room to room providing friendly visits to patient and family members, emotional support, spiritual support, listen, comfort, read to patient, play soothing music on CD player, hand out blankets, hold their hand, give flowers, make coffee, make homemade cards, offer refreshments, straighten up the day room, and/or as well as administrative duties if desired.
