Looking for volunteers to assist with Planning the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Community Walk in Nashua, NH.
Making Strides is a powerful event to raise awareness and funds to end breast cancer. The walk takes place the Month of October which is Breast Cancer Awareness month. Planning for the event takes place year round with peak time (July - October) The planning committee meets monthly at St. Joesph Hospital for 2 hours.
Possible way to help include:
- Playing Activities and Entertainment
- Secure beverage and food donations
- Help check people in "Registration" day of event
- Speaking to business in community to get involved
- Help promote the event in the media (on-line, TV, social media, newspaper
- Making phone contact with past participants
Other opportunities are available to fit a wide variety of skills and interest.
