Community Food Bank is dedicated to ending hunger in the Central Valley. We provide food to more than 200 agencies in Fresno, Madera, Kings, Kern and Tulare Counties and serve over 280,000 people each month totaling over 38 million pounds of food served in fiscal year 2016.
The DC Volunteer Specialist is charged with assisting the Volunteer Manager in assuring the setup, coordination, supervision, and proper completion of volunteer activities in the DC. The DC Volunteer Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks associated with the storage and distribution of food and other donated products and include repacking food products, operating warehouse equipment, volunteer training, and volunteer supervision. These functions are designed to enhance and support the overall mission of Community Food Bank.
