A 76 year old woman living with ALS and her husband are looking for weekly cleaning help. They would like a female volunteer who can dust, vacuum, and wash the windows of their home since the wife is no longer physically able to do so. They think this will take someone two to three hours a week.

What is ALS?
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.
How does The ALS Association help?
We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
