FAQs

  1. What is the East Metro STEAM Partnership?

The East Metro STEAM Partnership develops and aligns resources through collaborative partnerships to support STEAM Initiatives. Staffed by Interim Director, Landen Zernickow, and advised by the Leadership Team, the EMSP fosters collective impact.

  1. What is STEAM?

STEAM = Science, Technology, Education, Art, and Math. To be ready for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow, the next generation needs to be equipped to make thoughtful decisions and solve problems. If our communities make sure that all learners have a chance to be immersed in STEAM-science, technology, engineering, art, and math-then we will develop the kinds of thinkers we need today and in the future. And we need to make sure that students can move through an ecosystem of learning opportunities to grow their knowledge and skills: schools, libraries, science centers and STEAM-based businesses, to name a few.
