Seeking out high school teen volunteers looking to fulfill community service requirements for graduation, or who are interested in how libraries operate! We are in need of responsible, organized teens to assist with various responsibilities at the library. The following is a list of possible opportunities.
Shelf Reader - Shelves books, and does shelf-reading (making sure that books are in proper alphabetical and numerical order) to make sure our books are where they belong. Straightens shelves so books look neat and appealing.
Special Events - Helps out with the set up of equipment, tables, booths, etc. for occasional special programs. Assists Library staff in conducting the event as needed. Helps in general cleanup afterward (Summer Reading Program)
Tech Coach - Directly help the public work with computers and other devices.
