Stein Hospice is a faith based nonprofit hospice caring for terminally ill patients. Our patients live in their own homes or in facilities throughout Union, Middlesex, Somerset and Monmouth counties.
We regularly provide educational materials to patients and families about the physical, psychological and spiritual changes that occur towards the end of life. With a growing number of Spanish speaking patients and families, we need to translate our materials from English to Spanish. If you are good writer in both languages, please consider helping us.

Our terminally ill patients are in need of caring companions who will help them live the best lives possible in the last months, weeks and days of their lives.
Our hospice services are coordinated and provided by an interdisiciplinary team of professionals and trained volunteers. The volunteers offer essential help either directly to patients and their families, or in our offices. Direct patient care volunteers have the opportunity to create relationships with patients, offering them dignity, companionship and caring at a time when they need human connections the most.
