Mission Statement

The mission of SportsWorks is to enrich the lives of economically disadvantaged children and youth in the United States through free basketball and tennis instruction in a Christian values based setting. Our mission is guided by the desire to provide underprivileged and under-resourced children and youth with the ability to engage in exercise, interact with other children, and strengthen their morality, all of which are key drivers in building self-esteem and confidence. We also provide sports equipment to impoverished communities around the world with the objective of providing joy and physical well-being to the children who live in those communities.

Description

Since March 2005, hundreds of children have attended our basketball and tennis clinics and benefitted from our academic assistance programs, and Christ-centered instruction.
