Every year, Catholic Charities supports low-income families in the Lake county area by collecting and distributing donated School supplies. For children experiencing poverty, school supplies are a luxury that many go without. Each year, we strive to ensure that each child will have a backpack with the basic school supplies to start the upcoming year.
We are looking for volunteers to help us fill, check and sort the backpacks prior to distribution. It is fun and exciting to build a backpack that will help a child start the school year right. You can come in any weekday between 9 am and 4 pm and work and hour or all day!
