We are looking for about 3 - 5 Volunteers to help with repackaging dry goods and produce on Monday afternoons from 12 or 1 PM to about 3 or 4 PM at our Central Distribution Center in southeast Moreno Valley. We would be creating smaller bags of beans, rice, vegetables for the Mobile Fresh bus that delivers to childcare, senior and community centers. Since 1953, Family Service Association has served communities in Southern California with a variety of human service programs including: Child Development, Child Abuse Prevention, Trauma Informed Counseling, Senior and Community Centers, Senior Housing, and Senior Nutrition. Family Service is a not-for-profit social service organization dedicated to meeting the changing needs of families and communities in Riverside County and San Bernardino County regardless of income, ethnicity, gender or socio-economic status. We envision a day when Inland Empire communities have strong families without poverty, hunger or health disparities.
