Locomotive Engineer
Locomotive Engineers needed on weekends (Saturdays/Sundays). Engineering shifts will vary, but will list below.
Scheduling will be based on volunteer preference, but we do require a minimum of once per month to remain active. Shifts are broken down per season, per engine, per available shift:
All locomotive engineers will begin training on the diesel locomotive, and if they are interested can work their way up to the steam engines.
Winter: November 1st through March 14th. The train operates Saturdays and Sundays from 11:00am to 3:00pm weather permitting.
Shifts:
Fire up: 10:30am to 1:00pm
Shut Down: 1:00pm to 4:00pm
Full Day: 10:30am to 4:30pm
Spring/Summer/Fall: March 15th through October 31st. The Train operates Saturdays and Sundays from 10:30am to 4:30pm weather permitting.
Shifts:
Fire up: 10:00am to 1:00pm
Shut Down: 1:00pm to 5:30pm
Full Day: 10:00am to 5:30pm.

Mission Statement
The Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad, Inc. is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that was founded in 1968. Both the railroad and W.E. "Bill" Mason Carousel exist as a legacy of Billy Jones and as a means to preserve history and entertain the public. All proceeds and donations go to perpetuating the railroad and carousel, as well as maintaining our ability to provide historical and entertaining recreation for persons of all ages.
Description
The Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad is committed to providing a great experience to children and adults alike. Ride aboard a real steam engine as it goes through beautiful Oak Meadow and Vasona Parks. Go round and round on 107 year-old carousel. The Billy Jones Wildcat Railroad has rides, food, and most importantly fun!
