Johnson County Med-Act's Hazmat Medical Support team and the Shawnee Fire Department are looking for volunteers to help them with a critical training. Volunteers will play the role of "victims" of a chemical exposure and WILL get wet as the first-responders practice their skills/train. There are several days and times for this opportunity. Victim actors will be sprayed with hoses, (not high-pressure hoses) so they ask that you wear a bathing suit or other appropriate clothing under your clothes. Drills start an hour after the requested arrival time to allow time for all volunteers to receive specific instruction.
