Lifetime Connections Without Walls (LCWW) is a telephone-based socialization service that provides homebound or isolated older adults the opportunity to connect with other individuals from around the country and engage in fun, social, and learning opportunities for up to an hour a week. Our program is looking for a volunteer with writing background to host a writing workshop for our participants. The workshop is 30 minutes long and requires providing the participants with a writing prompt and then offering feedback/encourgement on their material.

Are you looking to get involved in giving back to a great group of individuals all from the comfort and ease of your home or work? LCWW could be the volunteer opportunity for you! Volunteering is done over the phone and computer and can be done anywhere. Commitment would be 30 minutes 3 to 6 times over a 4-month session (or more if you'd like!) All you need is a smile, an internet connection, and a desire to work with others!

Volunteer application and background check required (We require a Texas ID to complete background check.) Training will take place on-site at Family Eldercare's office.
