Love to walk and talk? We are looking for volunteers who would enjoy visiting with our Hospice patients and take them for short 'walks' around their facility - inside or outside! This volunteer activity doesn't need to take a long time but is so greatly appreciated by our patients! If you are 18 years old and can spare three hours a month - we would love to talk to you! Description
For over 40 years we have provided compassionate care to those we serve during the end of life's journey. As a leader in hospice care our dedicated staff feel called to support our patients. Our spiritual care staff work with many local faith organizations to deliver spiritually oriented hospice care to patients of all faiths.
Our interdisciplinary team includes medical professionals, social workers, spiritual care and bereavement professionals. Our dedicated volunteers provide companionship, pet and music therapy, personalized notes and reflection pages as well as special event support.
