Power Soccer Camp

Save to Favorites

ORGANIZATION: Courage Kenny Rehabilitation Institute

  • A group opportunity. Invite your friends.

Each summer, a crew of about 30 power soccer players (power soccer is an adaptive version of soccer, played in power wheelchairs) spend a week at True Friends Camp in Annandale. This awesome event provides players the opportunity to experience the fun of a sleep away camp AND the chance to improve their power soccer game.

In order to make the week a successful one, we require the help of volunteers to help with camp check-in and check-out/moving in and out of cabins and to lead arts and crafts for a few hours each day. It’s a perfect opportunity for a team/group to bond, log service hours, learn about/gain exposure to adaptive sports, and give back to the community.

*Meal is provided at end of shift.
