Our Youth Center is located across the street from Mills Elementary school, where 100% of the students qualify for free or reduced lunches. Volunteers at our Youth Center work one on one and in a group setting with elementary aged kids creating and facilitating arts and crafts, reading, assisting with homework and tutoring English and math, playing games or just talking and having fun. Volunteers may also help with meal service and light cleaning, if needed. We work with you and your interests to help you get the most out of your time at our Youth Center. Our kids LOVE visitors, and we are especially in need of male volunteers, as many of our youth have single parent households with the absence of a positive male role model.

Description
Integral Youth Services (IYS) is a private, faith-based, non-profit 501(c)(3) social service agency which has been providing services to homeless, at-risk and runaway youth in Klamath County since 1988. IYS provides an array of programs and services to more than 2033 Klamath County youth annually.
IYS operates a wide range of programs and services, each 'integrating’ with one another to meet the needs of youth and their families. These can be categorized in the following seven areas:
Intervention, emergency shelter, youth housing, advocacy, education, life skills training, employment and employment training.
We believe in serving our youth with compassion and encouragement. We believe in providing opportunities, structure and accountability, which leads to a sense of responsibility. Our philosophies enable us to nurture the youth that we serve, releasing their full potential.
