Coach a team of 8-20 3rd-5th or 6-8th grade girls through a 10 week season. Coaches lead girls through Girls on the Run's award-winning curriculum to prepare girls to complete a 5K while building life skills vital to pre-teens, such as goal-setting, choosing healthy habits and good friends, assertiveness, resisting peer pressure, etc.
No running or coaching experience necessary. Coaches must complete background check and attend a 4-6 hour training. Interested volunteers should visit www.gotr-nei.org for more information.
