ORGANIZATION: CARSON CITY SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER

Bus Driver with Nevada state license needed to drive for social excursions. Trips traditionally on Thursdays and no longer than one hour of continuous driving. Driver is invited on tours, admission, and to participate with the group on the trip. Intinerary is provided with details on parking, directions, and most trips have a chaperone attending. Occassional trips will be scheduled on weekends and evening (i.e. Rodeo, Aces).

Must have clean driving record and pass drug and alcohol screening per DOT regulations.

Description

The Carson City Senior Citizens Center, located on 911 Beverly Drive, Carson City, Nevada, is here to serve the seniors of Carson City. We are open Monday - Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We have scheduled activities each day such as exercise, bunco, bingo, line dancing, lapidary, bridge and many others that seniors enjoy.

A hot, nutritious meal is served in the center's dining room every weekday from 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., for a donation of $2.25 for seniors (age 60 and over) and $6.00 for guests who are under age 60.
