ORGANIZATION: Golden Gate Bird Alliance (formerly Golden Gate Audubon Society)

Development Committee members work on development planning, prospect research, mail personalization, and on the steering committee doing logistics for special events including our Bird-a-thon and donor events. Anyone with membership or fundraising experience who can attend committee meetings would be welcome to join and participate.

Founded in 1917, Golden Gate Bird Alliance is one of the oldest wildlife conservation organizations on the West Coast. We have a long history of inspiring and connecting people in the Bay Area with local birds, wildlife and their habitats and today play a critical role in Bay Area wildlife conservation. Golden Gate Bird Alliance has roughly 7,000 members and supporters in San Francisco, Alameda and Contra Costa counties.
