MAM is seeking patient and dedicated volunteers to help teach basic computer literacy to clients in our Employment Services Program! Our Computer Literacy Volunteers work with our diverse clients one on one in our computer lab and support them by helping them with a variety of topics, some of which include setting up email, online job search and application assistance, help with resumes, etc. At a minimum you should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and use of the internet.
The commitment is for 3 hours a day, one day per week. Currently we have 3 openings: Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday morning from 9am - 12noon. An initial 3-month commitment is required.
If you would like to help or have questions, please contact Pam Shirk at pshirk@maministries.org or 713-574-7540. Thank you!
