Welcome Center Greeters work in the welcome center to provide a positive guest experience. Welcome Center Greeters will assist guests in purchasing day passes, selling memberships and items in the gift shop, and answering basic questions about the Arb.
Shifts are 2 hours long but if desired can be combined with other shifts to have a longer period of time. This opportunity is great for those who want to be inside. Welcome center greeters are able to do other activities such as college homework, use an Ipad or laptop, or engage in other non-distracting hobbies. We provide all training before their shift. Those interested must be 17 or older and have transportation to and from the Arboretum. Consideration may be given to teens or young adults needing service hours for a church, school, or scholarships.
All new volunteers must complete a volunteer application which can be found at https://goo.gl/forms/lZ9G1cAxrTFt09vX2. A staff member will follow up with you to discuss training.
