With more than 3,300 youth, ages 14-25, living on the streets of Atlanta each night and 50 percent of youth aging out of the foster care system becoming homeless within six months, youth homelessness continues to be a persistent challenge in Atlanta that leaves lives destroyed and potential unrealized. Understanding this grave issue, community partners are coming together in partnership with CHRIS 180 (formerly known as CHRIS Kids) to provide housing options, meals and food resources, blankets, hygiene kits and other essential resources to this valuable but vulnerable population.
