Celebrate Life, Celebrate Local - A Tasting Event

We are looking for volunteers to help set-up and volunteer at our Celebrate Life, Celebrate Local tasting event and fundraiser. The eighth annual event raises much needed funds for our patients and families.

Held at the Foundry Art Centre in St. Charles, Mo, the event welcomes 20-30 of the areas local breweries, wineries, distilleries, restaurants, food producers and sweets makers. Attendees can taste samples and some products are available for purchase. The event also features a wine pull, raffles, a fund-a-program auction and online auction.

Here's how you can help:

  • set-up at the Foundry. Includes setting up tables, glassware, bannners, auction items.
  • filling swag bags
  • selling glassware
  • attending to vendor needs
  • passing out samples for companies/brands that have donated product
  • ticket sales
  • photography

Description

The purpose of SSM Health Hospice and Home Health Foundation is to provide non-healthcare support to our patients and their families. Often, the people we care for are in financial crisis because the caregiver has stopped working to stay at home and take care of them. Many have limeted financial and family resources.

Our programs aim to provide a financial and emotional safety net. Keeping utilities turned on and paying rent are just the beginning of the ways we are able to assist our patients. In additional to financial assistance, we are able to provide physical, emotional and spiritual help through our other life-honoring programs.

We fund our life-honoring programs through memorials, donations, fundraisers and grants.
