The Resource Center is an informational hub for YWCA program participants. Program participants can come to the Resource Center to use the computer, get help finding a needed resource, utilize arts and crafts, or visit with their neighbors. The Resource Center is open Monday through Friday from 1:30-4 p.m. We are looking to have it open later in the evening as well.
Evening hours are needed.
Looking for a dedicated volunteer to assist YWCA program participants in resume writing, applying for jobs, computer skills, and more. Other dutues may include:
* Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the Resource Center
* Familiarizing yourself with the resources displayed and with resources in the Dayton area
* Ensuring all participants sign in
* Opening and closing the Resource Center on time
* Assisting program participants in making copies on the copy machine
* Assisting program participants in finding information in the Resource Center or on the computer
* Assisting program participants in using the computer o Note: Computer is only to be used for job and school related tasks
