Volunteers stand outside of Sam's Club and hand lists of items that we are collecting that day to shoppers. Everything that we collect in Loveland goes directly to KidsPak, a weekend hunger-relief program for children in Loveland and Berthoud. Volunteers shifts are 10:30am-1:30pm or 1:30pm-4:30pm. All dates are posted at www.homelessgear.org/calendar
This is a great opportunity for teens 14 & up (on their own) or for families with young children (adult supervision). We can sign off on Community Service Hours for club and school requirements.

Homeward Alliance (formally Homeless Gear) is a Fort Collins-based nonprofit that provides a continuum of services to individuals and families who are homeless or - in some cases - at risk of becoming homeless: supplies that help them survive in the short-term, connections to resources in the interim and links to employment, housing and self-sufficiency in the long-term.
