Can you carry a tune in a bucket? Do you have a love of music and the desire to share it with seniors? If you answered yes to either question than the seniors of Sunrise of McCandless are in need of you!!
Currently our Sing Along is held on Saturday afternoons at 2 pm, and generally last an hour. We have avaialble for you a Baby Grand if you have the ability to play, (this is not required) we also have various DVD's or CD's to accompany residents as they sing some of their favorites.
Please contact us if you are interested in learning more. The schedule is negotiable, a short orientation is required.

Description
We are an Personal Care community located in the McCandless area of Pittsburgh. We feature three neighborhoods within our community; two of which offer special care for those with memory impairment.
Volunteers play a huge part in our daily activities, helping to brighten the days of all those we serve. The opportunities are endless, if you happen to not see something that interests you, reach out! I strive to be highly flexible in the varying interests, capabilities and availability of volunteers.
