Every Thursday during the school year, the Children's Museum of Atlanta holds a special open workshop for kids to learn to sew and create wonderful art projects and memories. Volunteers are needed to assist the education team in holding these workshops. You will work with the staff to give families instructions, ensure the studio is well stocked with material, keep the area clean and tidy throughout the day, and perform other tasks as necessary. Knowledge or experience with sewing is not necessary.
Note:
All adult volunteers (18+) must complete a criminal background check to work with children. Once you respond to this post, we will get you started with the onboarding process.
