The Anderson Collection at Stanford University hosts Second Sunday a monthly, free, family-focused day. Second Sundays offer a family-focused tour, art activities, Art Boxes, and more. Each Second Sunday will explore a new theme and relate back to our collection.
Volunteering for this program will involve
- helping set up/ clean up art making stations (possibly moving tables and chairs)
- engaging with families and young visitors
- facilitating hands-on art making activities
- making connections between our art activities and the permanent collection
- be an ambassador for the museum with our visitors
- 3.5 hours a month/6 month commitment

Description
The Anderson Collection at Stanford University is a collection of 121 modern and contemporary American paintings and sculpture generously gifted by Harry W. and Mary Margaret Anderson and Mary Patricia Anderson Pence. This gift represents the core of their larger collection, one of the world’s most outstanding private assemblies of art, built by the family over the past 50 years.
