zSharp makes music a part of every child's education. By proving access to high quality music education to low income schools in the East Bay, we bring music to the kids that need it most!
We are seeking a content writer and web manager to give our current online content a fresh update as well as perform occasional updates and maintainance, including quarterly "news & events" blog post and updates for new staffing, programming, partner schools, funders, etc. We have a brand new website designed and ready to go in SquareSpace, just need the man power to get the content finalized and up and running! We're a scrappy nonprofit that relies on volunteers like you to help us keep acheive our mission of music for every child.
An engaging and simple writing style as well as familiarity with SquareSapce are must-haves. Prior content management and web experience is preferred, but not requried.

Mission Statement
zSharp makes music a part of every child’s education.
Description
zSharp provides comprehensive, in-school music education to low-income schools in the Bay Area who would otherwise have no formal music education.
Our music classes are completely integrated into the school day and curriculum, complementing other academic activities. zSharp provides every child at these schools with at least one music class a week for the entire school year. Our longest-tenured teachers have provided individual students with music education every week for the past seven years from kindergarten through sixth grade.
