Brawny Work - From weeding to building beds to minor repairs and construction projects there's plenty to do at Freah Future Farm! We encourage volunteers to dress in layers, wear closed toed shoes, bring a big hat and a water bottle. Our regular volunteer hours are 3rd Saturdays from 9 am - noon. If you can't come on weekends and/or are part of a group of 10 or more, shoot us an email at freshfuturefarm@gmail.com to arrange another time. Chidren welsome with adult supervision.
Brainy Work - farm store inventory and more await those who want to support the farm in a less strenous way. We're also seeking support in coordinating large volunteer groups.

Fresh Future Farm is a city-based venture that leverages healthy produce and grocery services to create socially just economic development.
Description
Fresh Future Farm's work epitomizes the grassroots approach to community development. Since 2014, FFF's working class co-founders have created an urban farm and grocery store in the heart of a 'food desert’ -- an impoverished community that previously had little or no access to affordable, nutritious food. We leverage food justice - a community’s right to grow and sell affordable, healthy food that’s grown locally with care for the well-being of the land, workers, and animals. Our work addresses food, health, economic, and environmental disparities in the southern portion of North Charleston.
