Volunteers needed to provide emotional support and compassionate care to patients that are terminally ill or have a life-limiting situation. Our specially trained volunteers are an integral part of the Homestead Hospice team. Ways you can assist Are as simple as reading a favorite book, playing cards, listening, sitting quietly with a patient, helping overwhelmed family members or offering clerical or bereavement help. Volunteering will enrich YOUR life and the lives of those you touch. There is a short orientation/training and a very flexible schedule.
