Provide compassionate companionship to our patients. Care for patients with dementia, CHF, COPD, ECT...As a volunteer you would spend quality time with our patients engaging them in conversation and activities. A volunteer and patient may do activities together such as, play cards, read books, watch TV/movies, listen to music, go for walks, shopping, paint nails, beauty care, games, arts/crafts and other numerous leisure activities. Our patients enjoy music therapy, art, and pet therapy if available. Also, help with the facilities activities/events. Building skills and relationships to help someone in need of a companion.
