ORGANIZATION: DREAMCATCHERS NEW HAMPSHIRE

DreamCatchers New Hampshire (DCNH) is searching for Education Committee members to help with middle school and high school programs. This is an exciting time where we are updating our programs to ensure they are meeting the needs of our members. Education Committee members are needed to support the various areas listed below:

i. Paraprofessional (current)

ii. Guidance Counselor (current)

iii. Outside agencies (current or retired)

iv. Special Education Teacher (current or retired)

v. Curriculum expert Middle School (current or retired)

vi. Curriculum expert High School (current or retired)

The organization will be working to ensure our programs activities meet the needs of this population. Meetings will be regularly for most of the year with some work required. Estimated time needed is about 2hrs for a meeting every 6 weeks or so, with perhaps 2hrs of work in between meetings (approximately).

There are 20,000 students identified as having special needs in New Hampshire. Positive social experiences are a critical part of overall healthy development for children of all ages and abilities. DreamCatchers New Hampshire is a nonprofit organization that addresses this need by providing social opportunities in an environment that values everyone for who they are and provides opportunities to make friends, have fun and build self-confidence and empowerment.
