Research Role
This Board Member is responsible for qualitative and quantitative research for the organization’s various audiences. This organization is at an exciting point and seeks someone who has a good understanding of how to build effective surveys and analyze data for use in grants and presentations. This is a critical role, collaborating with the Executive director to ensure results will provide information for a set of expectations. This role may have other tasks involved in trouble shooting a new project the organization is working on.
The research member is elected at the annual meeting of the organization to hold office for a two-year term, or until a successor is elected and qualified, and is eligible for re-election for one additional consecutive two-year term.
Requirements:- Experience in research (preferably both qual/quant survey and reporting)
- Keen eye for detail
- Proven track record of success
- Highly collaborative in approach, entrepreneurial in approach; demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills
- Creates surveys for various audiences, collects, records and analyzes data for reporting to the Board at monthly meetings
- Works with the Executive Director to ensure that efforts are coordinated and timely
- Assists the Executive Director to prepare and create new presentations with verified research
- Works with the Executive Director to develop needs for annual strategy review (April/May)
- Works with the Executive Director to develop long-term research strategies.
- Keeps currently informed of legal, regulatory and sector developments relating to the Board’s research responsibilities.

DreamCatchers New Hampshire is a nonprofit organization that addresses this need by providing social opportunities in an environment that values everyone for who they are and provides opportunities to make friends, have fun and build self-confidence and empowerment.
