Join our fun, awesome, and empathetic team!

Want to work in the mental health field and get experience before graduate or medical school? The Bay Area Children’s Association (BACA) is a small but growing mental health agency for children, adolescents, young adults and their families and offers both outpatient services as well as several Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP).

BACA is looking for a dedicated individual to assist in the IOP as an Allied Behavioral Health Specialist (ABHS). An ideal candidate for this position is someone that excels well working alone on administrative tasks, but also is a team player as the candidate would work closely with other ABHS when the IOP is in session. We are looking for someone that takes initiative, follows through on tasks given without direct supervision, enjoys working with teens and is dependable, reliable and flexible. Volunteers would need to commit to a minimum of 12 hours per week (minimum of 3 days per week), for a minimum of 3 months.

Interested applicants, please email your resume and a cover letter stating "why you want to work in the mental health field" to career@baca.org

Thanks!
