Purpose/objective: Library staff will train volunteers on how to lead interactive storytimes for preschoolers. We will match volunteers with local childcare centers and provide a storytime kit filled with books and storytime puppets as well as a storytime lesson plan to follow. The library wants to encourage a love of reading in our youngest patrons and will partner with childcare centers to provide an exciting storytime experience.
